What materials do we use?

    Organic cotton

    Very low water consumption, without chemical insecticides, fertilisers or pesticides. This means that no hazardous or toxic substances are released into the soil, neighbouring rivers or lakes.

  • BIG MOVES POLYESTER FIBER ECOFRIENDLY TEXTILE RECYCLED

    Recycled polyester

    The production of recycled polyester from PET is significantly more energy efficient. Tackling plastic waste is one of the great environmental challenges of our time. Worldwide, approximately 9.5 million tonnes of plastic end up in our oceans every year after single use.

How are our products produced?

Many people are not aware that fast fashion has massive ecological and social impacts. But consumers can make a difference to protect the environment and from the exploitation of people and nature!

BIG MOVES SUSTAINABLE SUPPLIER

Since we focus on slow fashion, we only work with suppliers who use durable, high-quality and sustainable materials and fabrics. This means that new collections are not constantly being produced and sold, but everyone can wear their favourite pieces for as long as they want without the quality suffering.

We pay attention to the internationally approved textile certifications and control the process of raw material processing in order to meet all our requirements with a good conscience. Details of the materials used are also listed on the product pages.

It is important to us that our suppliers produce the products in a way that does not harm humans, animals or the environment.

They exclusively use 100% GOTS-certified organic cotton from India and 100% GOTS certified recycled polyester from China. The dyeing of the products is done with "Eco-Friendly" colours, in addition, they use sustainable packaging materials and climate-neutral shipping methods.

To further improve the process, certain partner factories are equipped with state-of-the-art waste water purification systems.

These filter toxic and therefore environmentally harmful substances out of the water and can guarantee safe reuse.

TEXTILE WASTE SOUTHEAST ASIAN COUNTRIES

To avoid unnecessary waste, each product is produced and shipped only after the order has been placed, depending on the destination, without increasing the shipping time.

This approach results in shorter transport distances and no waste in production.

But that is still not enough for us!

Our producers are committed to improving the working conditions and training of the workers they employ. Some of the most notable achievements include various training and education programmes, the establishment of scholarship programmes for employees' children, and education on maternal health during and after pregnancy.

How is the quality ensured?

The quality of our products is ensured by regular testing of the work processes and the end products. For this purpose, quality tests are initiated for each product in order to ensure that our expectations and those of our customers are satisfied. If the quality of a product does not meet our requirements, production is immediately interrupted and optimisation is initiated.

Our customers only receive the best of the best, we do not accept anything less.

How do I take care of my Big Moves items?

To ensure that you can use your favourite items for as long as possible, we recommend that you consider these points regarding the care of Big Moves products:

- For the clothes, we recommend that you strictly follow the care instructions on the labels attached to the product, you can also find these instructions in the product information on our website.

- As we pre-wash the textiles, discolouration and shrinkage of the textiles should not occur. However, we recommend that you do not put the Big Moves products in the dryer, wash at a maximum of 30°C and pay attention to the colour separation.

What can I do if I am not satisfied with the quality of a product?

Each of our products has a 30-day money back guarantee in case you are not satisfied with the product. This means that if you are not satisfied with any of our products, you are welcome to initiate a return and we will take care of resolving the issue as soon as possible.
